In this 3d max dynamics tutorial we are going to see how to create a water splash effect .And render it in vray.

And go to particle system. And set PArray. And in the modifier in the object based emitter in pick object select the text. You can see the emitter emits from the text.In the particle types set to object fragment.

In object fragment controls. Set it to number of chunks 100.

You can toggel the key frame animation and you can see the particles emits from the text.

I have created a box and extruded it.And set a camera for the scene.Make sure u set it too Vray render. And i have used Vray water shader to the text and to the emitter.

And the render the scene you wil get a output like in this.

Then create a Target directional light and set it to vray shadow. And for a bounce light select one omni light.

Water_Effects7

In vray render settings set the filter to mitchell-netravalli and the type to adaptive subdivision. And set vray indirect illumination.set the first engine to irradiance map .and the second engine to light cache. And in the settings make the render region division to 32.and render the scene.

Now u can move the time line to get water splasing effects .
